Warranty

All Opelle products are made by hand in Toronto Canada. Your satisfaction is very important to us and as such we guarantee our workmanship & the quality of our products ​and their parts and components against flaws and defects. Any production flaw or defect occurring within the first year of purchase will be corrected either by repair or replacement as appropriate, and the item returned to you free of charge.

​Natural wear and tear, damage due to misuse, variations in leather grain or texture, stitching flow and any other minor variance which does not compromise the functional integrity of the product are not covered under our warranty.

Warranty & Repair requests must be accompanied by a valid proof of purchase, either from opellecreative.com or an approved stockist.

Repairs

We do ​offer general repairs ​where damage has occurred outside of the warranty period for a fee. Repairs will be assessed and quoted on a case by case basis & must be accompanied by a valid proof of purchase.

In order that we can guarantee our work, we cannot repair pieces that are more than 3 years old, which have been previously repaired by a third party​ or in cases where repair or alteration will compromise the structural or aesthetic integrity of the piece.

Shipping

Returns, exchanges & items returned for repair or warranty must be sent to the studio by post or courier. We cannot accommodate in-person drop offs or visits.

The cost of shipping your piece to our studio for warranty or repairs is at the customer’s expense. In the case of warranty repairs Opelle will cover the cost of shipping the items back to you. When items are repaired outside of the warrantly period the cost of return shipping will be included in your repair fee.

Please note that returns received with duties, tariffs or import taxes attached will be refused. It is the shipper's responsibility to ensure that returns are sent free of c.o.d. restrictions.
