Opelle Woman - Melani Chong

Model and beauty guru Melani Chong, launched her namesake beauty consultancy and development company- MC2 beauty in 2012. She is consulting, designing and formulating for clients in Canada, US, Grand Cayman, Japan and Hawaii. Developing natural, organic beauty and skin care products, fragrances and flavours.

We immediately formed a friendship with Melani after being introduced through mutual friends and have been fashion party dates ever since. Mel is the perfect blend of disarming beauty, and endless kindness, infectious positivity and calming ease.

We met with Mel at her office in the ultra-chic creative communal work space the East Room in Riverdale. The space is filled with enviable antiques (from 507 antiques downstairs) artwork from local artists and is a lively hub of creative pursuits.
