Once you have placed your order and checked out you’ll receive an email confirmation verifying your order with Opelle. Please ensure that all of the information in your confirmation is correct and keep a copy for your records. If there are any errors on the receipt, please email us with your order number at email@example.com You will have the option to enter a password and create an account with Opelle. Creating an account will expedite checkout on future orders and allow access to the customer account area where you can check the status of your orders, access shipping and tracking information and manage your addresses and preferred payment methods.
Opelle accepts Visa, Mastercard and American Express credit cards as well as Paypal payments. At the time of checkout you will have the option of choosing either credit card or PayPal to pay for your order. If you are checking out with an existing Paypal account, please ensure that your information is up to date, including your shipping address, prior to check out.
If you are ordering from within Ontario, British Columbia, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick or Newfoundland you will be charged HST on the final item price exclusive of shipping.
Promo codes are valid at the time of purchase only for the discount amount or percentage specified. Codes are not retroactive, we cannot apply discounts or codes after the order has been placed. Codes are valid for the dates specified only. Limit 1 per transaction. Items purchased with a code of greater than 10% are considered discounted/sale and are subject to our exchange policy for sale/discounted purchases.
STOCK AVAILABILITY & MADE TO ORDER
As each Opelle bag is handmade individually, we aren’t always able to ensure that every bag is in stock at all times. In order to give our customers full access to every available style, some items are listed as ‘Made to Order’. These are regular stock items that are in production and will ship within 1 – 3 weeks from date of ordering and will be clearly marked in the item description.

All in stock orders are shipped within 3 business days of receipt of your order. If you would like rush processing, please email us at email@example.com prior to placing your order. Wait-listed and Pre-order items will ship within 1 - 3 weeks of receipt of order. We will email you with shipping info once your order is complete.

IMPORT DUTIES & TAXES
Orders to Countries outside Canada and the US may be subject to import fees and duties. These fees are assessed and imposed by your local customs office and will vary by country. Any customs, duties or tarrifs imposed on import are the responsibility of the buyer. We are unable to effect or reimburse these costs in any way. By purchasing from opellecreative.com you agree to responsibility for any fees.
Any unused full-price merchandise purchased from opellecreative.com may be returned for a full refund exclusive of shipping if received within 14 days of receipt of shipment. Sale and items purchases with a discount applied are returnable within 14 days of receipt for store-credit only. Refunds will not be issued for these items.
All returns must be requested by contacting email@example.com prior to return shipment. Items sent for return or exchange must be in original condition, unused with all tags in place. Please ensure returned items are packaged safely in either the original shipping box or a comparable carton. Opelle retains the right to deny returns on merchandise that is not received in saleable condition. We cannot accept returns which are damaged or lost in transit or that are received after 14 days of receipt. Return shipment costs are the responsibility of the customer except where an item is deemed faulty. When refunds are issued they will be applied to the original purchaser via the same method that payment was received, minus original shipping costs. Opelle is unable to refund any customs or duties incurred on items shipped outside North America.
Final Sale and any special order items are FINAL SALE and cannot be exchanged or returned.
All returns must be authorized by Opelle prior to return shipping. We do not accept returns which are sent without prior authorization. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your order details for a return number and shipping instructions.
The cost of return shipping is at the customer’s expense, except in the case where an item is deemed faulty. Please note that returns received with duties, tariffs or import taxes attached will be refused. It is the shipper's responsibility to ensure that returns are sent free of c.o.d. restrictions.
Refunds & exchange will be made within 5 business days of receipt of goods, via the same means by which original payment was made. In the case of repairs and warranty claims, these items will be assessed within the same time-frame.
Opelle Creative strives to provide the highest quality product possible. Items are considered faulty when a quality or production flaw occurs within 1 year of purchase. Items that are damaged as result of normal wear and tear are not considered faulty. When items are deemed faulty they will be replaced with a new item of the same color & season as the original purchase.
We will make reasonable repairs on items purchased from opellecreative.com free of charge for up to 1 year from date of purchase. Please address repair inquiries to email@example.com Please note: As repairs & warranty claims are made in our studio in Toronto, Canada the cost of return shipping is at the customer’s expense. We will make all necessary repairs and return the goods to you, however we cannot cover the cost of shipping from you to us. We reserve the right to deny unreasonable repair requests.
Opelle uses only top-grain leather tanned to retain it’s natural protective properties. In addition, each bag is pre treated prior to shipping with a sheer protective finish to keep out the elements. So your Opelle bag is wear-ready and easy care. Follow these basics to keep your bag in it’s best condition through years of use:
Light stains and surface dirt can be removed by gently wiping clean with a damp cloth and allowing the leather to air dry naturally, away from direct sunlight.
Never scrub or abrade the surface of the leather as this can damage the protective finish.
As a general rule, leather care products should be used sparingly and only when necessary, such as after cleaning or in very damp climates.
To store when not in use, stuff your bag loosely with paper to keep it’s shape and store it in a moderate environment away from heat sources and direct sunlight.
Never store your leather bag in plastic. Like skin, leather needs to breath.
Avoid exposure to extreme heat, cold and very bright light
Use care to avoid contact with light color garments or furniture as leather is natural material that breaths, it may shed some color
Avoid contact with water, grease, oils and cosmetics.
Never use any oils or oil based products on your bag.
